Out of a physical and spiritual connection to the landscape, Lorna paints with passion, imagination, and a sense of wonder.

She moves beyond the obvious to ‘really see’ with a painter’s eye, a landscape which is constantly moving and telling its own story.

Lorna’s relationship with the landscape stems from her Christian faith and her understanding of life as a pilgrimage. ‘Through the physical act of walking, I am reminded of the many layers of history; stories of man and of nature journeying through space and time.’
