MADE in mourne was founded by Jenna Stevenson and a group of local entrepreneurs in August 2017, with the vision of creating a fresh, new, stimulating environment for showcasing creative local businesses, while also supporting local entrepreneurs.
Over the next six years, MADE in Mourne would go onto support 150 businesses, create 20 jobs, host 78 workshops and events, invest 1 million into the local community, and export products to 5 countries. This was achieved through their three floors showcasing local talent. The shop, and the online e-commerce website, gave local makers opportunity and exposure to sell and showcase their handmade crafts and produce, allowing them to grow their businesses. MADE in Mourne’s business hub created a modern and connected working space for the launch and growth of local entrepreneur’s businesses.
