2nd Saintfield Presbyterian Church is on the Ballynahinch Road, at the western end of Saintfield. It is in the part of Saintfield known as Fairview and in the past was known as Cow Fair as a monthly fair was held where the road is now. It was in this area that the first houses were built in the town.
The present congregation has approximately 250 families drawn from the local community. Recent housing development has seen an increase in new members from outside the district.
